  • A subscription created from a checkout offer
  • A routed and vaulted payment method for renewals

Subscriptions track recurring billing independently from Shopify products. Their schedule and phase transitions come from the Recurrify plan snapshot used when the subscription was created.

Review subscription state and phased renewal pricing

Manage subscription records

Filter the subscription list

Open Subscriptions and filter by Active, Paused, Canceled, or Past due. Use customer, plan, amount, and next billing date to identify the record.

Subscription states are lifecycle outcomes and are changed through supported actions.

Review the billing schedule

Inspect the current price, next billing date, interval, completed cycles, and current pricing phase. The subscription retains a pricing snapshot even if the source plan changes later.

Use lifecycle actions

Pause future renewal processing when needed, resume a paused subscription, or cancel future renewals. These actions update lifecycle state and create an audit trail; typing a status is not supported.
