Create a funnel

Select one Source Page, claim a hostname, and assemble a journey.

A Funnel assembles reusable Pages and an optional Checkout into one customer journey. It owns the Source Page, hostname, router, paths, graph, offers, promotions, and tracking. Pages and Checkouts publish independently; the Funnel always resolves their latest published revisions for new sessions.

Create a Funnel

Choose the Source Page

Open Funnels, choose Create funnel, enter a name, and select one hosted or Shopify Source Page. Source selection is permanent because it fixes catalog, branding, and Delivery Setup compatibility.

Claim the hostname

Choose a generated Recurrify domain for automatic routing and HTTPS, or enter a custom hostname such as offers.example.com. A Funnel always receives a hostname at creation. Custom DNS can remain pending while the journey is built.

Assemble the journey

Add compatible Pages, give each hosted step a unique path, connect outcomes in the graph, and optionally add one published Checkout. Content-only Pages can be reused broadly; commerce-aware Pages are filtered to the selected Source Page. Published Page and Checkout screenshots appear as cached graph thumbnails.

Choose routing and save

Select one ready router in General, then save the graph and settings. There is no Funnel Publish action. If the hostname, router, delivery, and published resources are ready, Recurrify makes the saved Funnel live. Publishing a referenced Page or Checkout refreshes it automatically.

Funnel rules

  • A Funnel has exactly one Source Page and at most one Checkout.
  • A Funnel owns the router used by its Checkout; Checkouts do not own routers.
  • Shopify-source Funnels cannot go live without a published Recurrify Checkout.
  • One Shopify Source Page has one live Funnel.
  • Hosted Funnels may omit Checkout for lead-generation or content-only journeys.
  • Every hosted Page, Checkout, post-purchase step, and thank-you step inherits the Funnel hostname.
  • A Checkout needs exactly one Success transition, and every path after it must end at a terminal Thank-you Page.
  • A physical journey needs an eligible Source Page Delivery Setup. A Funnel may promote free delivery but cannot define methods.
